    1. Yes, it is an amazing place. We have a family tradition of visiting the Tallgrass Preserve each year at Thanksgiving just to walk in the open spaces of the Flint Hills. The beauty of this place runs deep through the grasses, flint rocks, stream beds, and very souls of those who choose to spend some time in this quiet, open land. Thanks for your observations, Diana.

      1. We haven’t been back since the new visitor’s center was added. It’s on our list of things to do in the spring. The earth hums with energy there in a way makes me ache to see it again.
