Game Night

I am privileged to have spent my entire working life around people who do amazing things for others. Be it the occasional, chaotic race to restore a pulse or something as common, profound, and human as the holding of a hand in a time of crisis; these are my people.  Sometimes the gift to a community and its people is simply to be present.  This photograph is representative of a scene that plays out in communities across the nation.  The vigil of an EMS crew off to the side of a community’s main event.
