I regularly shoot pictures for the local high school cross country team. The challenge in this shooting, week after week, is to find new things. You can only shoot so many people running by before you, and your camera, begin to get a bit bored. In looking for the extraordinary within the ordinary, I came across a moment that exemplifies this young lady’s joy at the prospect of running and competing. It sets me to wondering if I exhibit the same kind of joy in my daily activities . . .
